In 2026, Minoru Yasui Day marked the 10th anniversary of Oregon’s permanent designation of March 28 and the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence—framing a timely exploration of democracy and civil rights.
For the 2026 program, I led communications and campaign strategy for a hybrid event presented by the Minoru Yasui Legacy Project in partnership with the Japanese American Museum of Oregon and hosted by the Oregon Historical Society, engaging audiences in dialogue around contested histories and their relevance today.
I executed an integrated, cross-channel campaign across web, email, social, print, and Eventbrite, while coordinating press and livestream (YouTube). The campaign expanded in-person and remote reach and strengthened partner collaboration around a shared civic moment.
